TIGHANIMINE
Life story of the cooperative
In 2016, the idea for the Tighanmin Forestry Cooperative emerged in Agadir Ida Outanane province when a woman noticed the lack of knowledge among the women of Tighanmin Ait Abbas village. She began training them for free in the school restaurant after obtaining the necessary permissions. With the participation of sixty women, the cooperative project was officially launched. Its activity focuses on producing and promoting local products such as argan, amlou, and honey. It encountered several challenges, including scarcity of raw materials, rising prices, declining customer numbers, and funding shortages. Despite these obstacles, the cooperative succeeded in obtaining numerous quality certificates, a testament to its determination to persevere and grow.
