LA COOPERATIVE AGRICOLE AL AMAL POUR LES PLANTES AROMATIQUES ET MEDICINALES
Life story of the cooperative
Founded in 2016 in the heart of Tikrikra village, the AL AMAL women’s agricultural cooperative was born from the collective will of 13 women to transform medicinal and aromatic plants into a genuine economic opportunity. Thanks to strong internal solidarity, innovation, and the adoption of digital marketing strategies, the cooperative has progressively enhanced its production capacity and visibility. This dynamic has enabled a notable upscaling, supported by obtaining recognized health licenses: PAC for couscous, PAR for plants and oils, and TCL for cereals and legumes. Today, AL AMAL stands as a reference for quality and trust in local and national markets, and constitutes an inspiring example of women’s economic empowerment in a rural setting.
