Life story of the cooperative
Founded in 2017 in Agadir Ida Outanane province, the FANE ANNABAT cooperative is the initiative of five women dedicated to cultivating and promoting aromatic and medicinal plants. United by a strong collective spirit, they chose to structure their activity within a cooperative to boost their visibility, pool their know-how, and align their production with sustainability. Through active participation in local exhibitions and a step-by-step approach to organization, the cooperative built its reputation and stimulated demand for its products. FANE ANNABAT now stands out for its growth potential, its vision oriented toward expanding outlets, and its ambition to integrate into higher value-added markets—thus contributing to natural resource valorization and local economic development.
